Actors From Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy and Day of The Dead Attending Zombicon.

Fort Myers, FL (TSG) October 7, 2012. Zombie themed convention Zombicon 2012 (October 20, 21, Fort Myers Florida) is primed to be the largest gathering of zombies in the United States. Part of the draw will be their line-up of guests - actors, artists, authors, bands and more.

D.C. Douglas, who voices villain Albert Wesker in several "Resident Evil" zombie survival videogames, posted a video on YouTube to promote the event.

"I was excited to be invited as a guest," says Douglas, "since it's such an unusual con. But once I learned more about the charity behind it, I wanted to pitch in to help spread the word... and the virus."

Zombicon is organized by the non-ptofit Pushing Daizies. From Zombicon.com:

"Pushing Daizies, Inc. is a fun new non-profit organization which uses artistic means in order to benefit the local community and make charitable contributions to local and state organizations. Through our signature event, ZOMBICON, we have helped The Harry Chapin Food bank, The Lee Memorial Blood Center and Renal Transplant..."

Zombicon takes place in Fort Myers, Florida, October 20th & 21st. Guests include Zombologist Doc Lucky, Michael Ornstein ("Sons of Anarchy"), Madison Lintz ("The Walking Dead"), the cast of the original "Day of The Dead," D.C. Douglas ("Resident Evil") and many more.

Highlights of Zombicon include The Space Bar: adult lounge with go go dancers, AirSoft Zombie Experience, ZombiKids Zone, Autopocalyptic Car Show, Sunday Bloody Brunch, ZombiQueen Drag Pageant, and an outdoor music festival.
