APOX - OPEN BETA ON STEAM

December 23rd, 2010 (Hyderabad, India): BlueGiant Interactive, an independent game developer, has announced that it has reached open beta for its latest game, entitled APOX.  BlueGiant Interactive has recently completed several rounds of closed beta testing, lasting several months and involving hundreds of beta testers.  The open beta is being hosted exclusively on Steam and is expected to last two weeks.  Beta serial keys are freely available at the APOX website ( www.apoxgame.com).

APOX is a real-time strategy game that uniquely includes gameplay concepts from first-person shooters.  Like in a FPS, you can prone, crouch, switch active weapons, throw grenades, and loot corpses.  Soldiers in APOX have limited ammo, but ammo sharing is done seamlessly.  Soldiers can be placed in vehicles, and this essentially lets you create your own unit designs.  APOX keeps everything that makes RTS great like making bases, controlling strategic sites, and managing your resources.
