FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 10th, 2012 -- Thom Robertson ( http://artemis.eochu.com/) released a major update (v.1.6) to the PC game, Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator.
Changes with this new version include:
- Players can now choose from 5 different spaceships; the Scout, Cruiser, Battleship, Missile Cruiser, and the Dreadnought.
- Major changes to the Science console, making it easier to understand and use.
- New ECM torpedoes let you cripple enemy shields.
- Space monsters are now more powerful.
- New jump drive teleports your ship anywhere within the sector, which changes the game radically.
- More customization options and a host of small fixes.
In Artemis, one computer is the main screen, while the others serve as one of the five workstations (Helm, Communication, Engineering, Science, and Weapon Control). Working together as a bridge crew, the players warp around the sector, protecting space stations from a multitude of alien ships. Once the Artemis has expended its torpedoes and energy, the crew can replenish the ship by docking with a space station.
