LUTZ, FLORIDA - October 25, 2012 – Artix Entertainment, the indie game development studio that develops and publishes download-free, Flash-based RPGs to over 150 million registered users, announced a special in-game event this Friday, October 26th, featuring musical guest One-Eyed Doll and the world premiere of One-Eyed Doll's music video for their new song, "Committed."
Wandering into an insane asylum is never a good idea, and this Friday players will find out exactly why. Pandinus Asylum was shut down and abandoned many years ago after word got out that the monstrous Dr. De'Sawed was performing experiments on his patients. His goal was to use the insane to unlock the power of the mind, exploiting them to turn nightmares into reality. Rumor has it that the doctor succeeded, but it's been many years since anyone has seen or heard from him... until now.
And the deception begins…sometime on Friday AQWorlds' Mad Weaponsmith Cysero gets a note saying the players have discovered a new type of sandwich-meat/sofa. (A combination of perfection!) Kimberly, the lead singer of One-Eyed Doll, gets a note from Cysero saying that he has invented a new type of music. (How could the musician resist?) And the players get a note from lead singer Kimberly, saying that the band will be doing a special show for just a few people later that day. (No one wants to miss a private concert!) The notes invite all recipients to the abandoned Pandinus Asylum. The deception? It turns out that none of the notes was sent by Cysero, Kimberly, or the players. But once inside, the asylum doors slam shut and there's no way out!
Log in this Friday, October 26th at 6 PM EDT to help Cysero, Kimberly, and the other members of the band escape the asylum before the doctor finds them... because once he does, their minds won’t be the only things they lose!
Check out the world premiere of the music video of One-Eyed Doll's song, "Committed," also, in-game in AdventureQuest Worlds this Friday at 6 PM EDT.
