At the end of the year, Anuman Interactive comes to the rescue of Cosette in a game for iPad, iPhone, Android, PC and Mac that draws on Victor Hugo’s “Les Misérables”

Montreuil, 27 November 2012. French software publisher Anuman Interactive has unveiled “Les Misérables : Cosette’s Fate“, the adventure adapted from Victor Hugo’s world-famous novel, Les Misérables.

Anuman Interactive is offering the mainstream audience a chance to rediscover this great work of literature through a hidden object game, a genre that is particularly well appreciated in the Anuman catalogue – over 1.5 million downloads to date with such flagship offerings as “Alice in Wonderland“,“Deadly Association“, and “Jennifer Wolf and the Mayan Relics“.

“Les Misérables : Cosette’s Fate“ ushers in a new chapter in hidden object adventure games. It introduces new gameplay mechanics like the ability to move between settings and combine and use objects. An ever clearer user interface has been designed to offer the most pleasurable game experience possible.

Numerous anecdotes concealed in the scenery and bonus mini-games built into the story help players find out more about the legendary novel and its author.

Alexandre Migeon, Project Manager for “Les Misérables : Cosette’s Fate“ states: “We are pleased we have been able to produce a video game adaptation that is worthy of this much loved novel and the story it tells. But above all we are pleased to offer hidden object adventure gamers a much more immersive experience with a gameplay, that is freer, more interactive and even more intuitive.

“Les Misérables : Cosette’s Fate“ will be available on PC for the end-of-year festivities, then on Mac, iPad, iPhone and Android in French, English, German, Italian, and Spanish.

Les Misérables will also be in the film limelight at the same time with a sensational movie that will boast an internationally renowned cast featuring the likes of Hugh Jackman, Russel Crow and Anne Hathaway.
