Kunos Simulazioni is pleased to announce a new officially licensed track for our upcoming racing simulation, Assetto Corsa, the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari of Imola
Welcome back Imola to the simracing world! Kunos Simulazioni celebrates the rebirth of one of the most favourite tracks for simracing enthusiasts, acquiring the official license to reproduce this legendary circuit as it has never been done before, by using Laserscan technology.
The most famous fan of this track, Enzo Ferrari, was usual to define Imola as the "little Nurburgring", referring to its highly demanding layout for cars and drivers. Still today, thanks to its climbs and famous corners, remains one of the most exciting tracks for racing.
Reproducing such a characteristic racing circuit in a 3D scenary is a real challenge. The Laserscan recognition, completed in 2011, has allowed the development team to model each bend and climb with an incredible precision, in order to guarantee an emotional driving, as close as possible to the real life circuit. It's a privilege for Kunos Simulazioni to offer to Assetto Corsa's fans this amazing circuit, surrounded by the Emilian countryside, a piece of Italy that the development team is proud to represent.
