Metaversal Studios is proud to announce the release of its new puzzle game Bad Apples: Battle Harvest in the iTunes App Store. An Android OS version of the game is slated for release in May. The game is the sequel to the popular iOS match-three puzzle game Bad Apples, which has seen over one million downloads since its launch in January of 2010.
Fans of the original Bad Apples game will recognize some familiar faces in the cast of Bad Apples: Battle Harvest, but the game features new gameplay mechanics, a Story Mode, and beautifully illustrated all-new background artwork. In addition, players of Bad Apples: Battle Harvest will now be able to share achievements, game progress and high scores via Facebook and Twitter.
Bad Apples: Battle Harvest is designed from the ground up to appeal to a range of mobile gamers and is enjoyable for both casual players and dedicated puzzle game fans. The introduction of an engaging storyline plus multiple different gameplay modes and goal-oriented progression offer the player more reason to strive towards completion of the game.
“We can’t wait for Bad Apples fans and new users alike to play Bad Apples: Battle Harvest and meet our new cast of characters,” said Matt Sughrue, VP of Product Development at Metaversal Studios.“Story Mode thrusts players into the epic tale of brave fruits and vegetables protecting their homelands from the invading Wormwit armies. It’s not just about matching, people; it’s about saving the world, one eggplant, apple or coconut at a time!”
