Online-gaming publishers Koram Games have just revealed Indomitus, an exciting new free-to-play browser-based MMORTS with a focus on massive battles, city building and heroic leadership. Confirmed for beta release on June 13th, Indomitus promises a unique guild system and more combat features than other games on the market.
Enter Indomitus, Koramgame’s latest free-to-play medieval browser MMORTS. In the shattered lands of ancient Europe, Indomitus allows you to unleash your inner barbarian and storm through the continent in the conquest for absolute domination.
In a saturated market of browser games with recurring themes, Indomitus is set to make a massive impact by striking a perfect balance between town management and massive army combat, with a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
While most MMORTS games place you behind a city interface half of the time, Indomitus plunges you straight into a deep RPG experience. You are the commander; meaning you want to ravage the lands as Supreme Overlord Bjongard; not Placeholder City #105.
Indomitus promises more combat modes than any previous browser-based strategy game: real time city sieges, historical battles, bandit raids, PvP face-offs, guild battles, and more. There's a variety of battle options ready and waiting for you to attack.
You can choose from a variety of nine allegiances to join when wrecking your way across Europe with your fellow tribe members. Social interaction is garnered through visceral combat. You must become indomitably allied, or be totally dominated.
Indomitus also boasts a surrender option, which allows you to carry on playing even after defeat. Never again will defeat automatically require you to restart.
If you’re on the pointy end of a spear in your last standing city, fear not– your heroic expertise will serve the other nations well if you so choose. All it takes is a swallow of pride and bowing down to a new master...
City Siege Campaign Mode
A massive army at your call
In Indomitus, city building is your key to creating a resource network.
This isn’t your average city building game where you are restricted to just a single city. You can create manors in nearly a dozen different cities, wielding ultimate control in resource manipulation and channelling. Beefing up your most strategic strongholds will be key to domination.
A historical setting without its historical players would be, well, unhistorical. If you appease the gods, revered war gods will heed your call via the Altar of Heroes. Who wouldn’t want to fight alongside Mel Gi- I mean, William Wallace and Caesar?
Indomitable Tactics Global domination with your friends is the core goal of every strategy game, and Indomitus boast one exceptional difference: the robust guild system.
Allegiances only offer you the default protection of your nation, whereas guilds will provide you with a slew of other options, including: guild research, extra missions, resource bonuses in friendly cities, and strategic tools only available to leaders to mobilize their members efficiently.
The highlight of the Indomitus guild system is in its strategy system during war.
The war in Indomitus is ongoing, just like most MMORTS titles. Usually, if you want to keep your empire safe and expanding, you’ll have to either sacrifice sleep in case your opponents strike first, or establish a time for your entire guild to turn up if you want to occupy a region. But not anymore.
With the Indomitus guild system, guild commanders can post strategies on key strongholds for all members to see on the world map.
With the cunning use of arrows to indicate squad movement plans and customized notices that let you know what’s going on even with no one to brief you, conquests have never been easier.
Indomitus removes the need to follow strict disciplinary times and show up online with 500 of your other friends just to wage war. Live in an Asian time zone but conducting war in a US guild? No problem, just log in and get updated on the latest in guild warfare; it’s almost like an automated daily war planner.
