Belgian gamers now officially own the world record gaming

Saturday 18 th Decembre 2010, twenty gamers, male and female, started with an ambitious project: to brake the world record gaming, owned by Holland, and set it safe for the next ten years. They did this in the studio’s of GUNKtv, a Belgian digital broadcast channel with focus on gaming and entertainment. During the attempt supporters, family and friends could follow their gamers live on GUNKtv and GUNK.be or come to the studio’s and visit them. So they didn’t have to miss one second of the event.

Well we are proud to announce that 17 participants survived the competition and set a new world record gaming.

But the battle isn’t over. Lot of the participants continue to set the record safe for the next ten years and while they do this, they compete for the grand prize of 3000 euro’s for the last man/woman standing.

The game the gamers have been playing for this period was Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on Xbox 360.
