Time flies, uh? Already 3 months have passed since we released BitBattle to the public, but it surely feels like it was yesterday! It’s been, clearly, 3 really intense months. In this time we have stumbled upon dozens of amazed professional reviews and hundreds of enthusiastic user reviews, opinions that helped BitBattle, by highlighting its main features better than we could have ever dreamt of doing it, in the process of standing out from any other game of the genre through this time. Now, with more than 25.000 downloads, BitBattle is not a new game, but it is far from dead.
With this Know Your Enemies update, the biggest to date and available right now on iOS, Android and BlackBerry, we have tried to address the three biggest concerns that players have informed us about.
First, there have been numerous inquiries asking us to share the stats of some suspectedly overpowered warrior, or demanding further explaining into some unit’ habilities. To solve this, BitBattle now includes a complete encyclopedia, called The Book, in which every unit of every army is thoroughly detailed and explained. We are sure this addition will help all players in creating new amazing strategies.
Next, we have as well received several complaints regarding the overall high difficulty of the game. Easy and Medium were, actually, as difficult as Hard for new and average players. Hence, we have re-adjusted both Easy and Medium levels, ensuring that these are approachable and engaging and thus guaranteeing a correct learning curve.
Last, but not least, lots of users have been wondering if there were more armies to be included sometime in the future. Today, we gladly introduce the first (and most surely not last) of these groups, the Crime Syndicate! Gangsters are a versatile army, with strong close combat potential, wide projectile area of effect and some tricks up the sleeve that require precise deployment. You will all find them really fun to play with!
All in all, a big update with which we expect to keep fans interested, with a mixture of knowledge and new challenges, while making possible that new players get into BitBattle without being held back by its unapproachability. Expect to hear more from us in the following months, as we will keep sorting any problem that might arise and creating new content. Have fun!
