The rumoured Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sequel has been confirmed by a cover story in the latest Nintendo Power.
Go Nintendo provides the details on the magazine feature, which reveals Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate for the 3DS.
According to the feature, Trevor Belmont will take on the role of protagonist for the first time since the NES title Castlevania III. Mirror of Fate will bring deep combat mechanics featuring secondary weaponry such as the boomerang-like glaive and the electric bomb.
The title is in development at Mercurysteam, though no release target was mentioned. Perhaps we’ll hear more about the game during Konami’s pre-E3 press conference later this week.
