Oslo/Los Angeles– October 13. 2010 - Panic Attack, a high-adrenaline retro game with a shocking emoticon death rate will be featuring music from several of 8 Bit Weapon’s and ComputeHer’s albums.
Hug from Jump’n Bounce is back, but this time there is a new twist: This time the gameplay is more similar to the 8-bit console games of the 80’s than the arcade machines. Hug is still bouncing and has to reach his golden star, but there are some new obstacles and Panic Attacks along the way.
The theme in Panic Attack is speed, reflexive maneuvers and disco. The music provided by 8 Bit Weapon and ComputeHer gives the game an atmospheric nostalgia, and supports both the modern gameplay and the retro style.
Michelle Mitchell is ComputeHer, a one woman wall of lo-fi sound! Michelle creates her unique music using vintage computers and video game consoles, as well as an assortment of other fun synths&drum machines. When she isn’t blasting bits with her beats, she can be found in her garden where she tends the beets you can eat! Michelle is also a member of the band 8 Bit Weapon
Inspired by classic videogame soundtracks and electronic music from the 70s and 80s, 8 Bit Weapon and ComputeHer delivers a sound that is as unique as it is original. Clever melodies, nostalgic atmosphere, and energetic beats create a decidedly modern sound while maintaining a fun, lo-tech aesthetic.
