Dragon’s Prophet’s Starting Zone Uncovered

28 February 2013 - Hampshire, UK/... Players embarking on the journey to become the Dragon’s Prophet will experience a variety of diverse regions in the world of Auratia. Forced to endure a brutal attack by renegades, players will swiftly become enlisted as an officer of the army of the Osirans. After choosing from one of several starting area options, players will find themselves plummeting into the depths of a twisted tale of corruption.

Dragon’s Prophet’s central starting region is an island called Bakra. Located in the north of Auratia, it’s apparent that this place has been affected both environmentally and sociologically by the first Dragon War. Much of the region was shattered by a spectacular fight between two legendary dragons. Steep gorges, gigantic waterfalls, and once-mighty cities have fallen to ruin among the grasslands and forests. Bakra can be divided into five areas and features three bustling cities. These cities are considered centers for trade and mining. Bakra is renowned for its abundance of natural minerals. The townsfolk of the mining city of Siberna have flawlessly adjusted to mining life, living in plain but stalwart houses.

Nearby, Omati Gorge poses a grave threat to Siberna with its multitude of deserted mining pits which are now inhabited by wild dragons. Further afield, the mining town of Fatoia serves as an important junction for the metal industry, since mineral ores are not only mined but also distributed and traded. With its airships and cable cars that haul both goods and passengers, Fatoia has steadily become a key hub for transport and trade.

Along with picturesque scenery, the zone of Bakra also features over 200 quests suitable for players up to level 30. Teeming with all manner of monsters including wolf men, trolls, wild dragons, and cunning goblins, Bakra will make life hard even for the most ferocious of adventurers. Players will also be tested in multiple dungeons by grisly bosses as they endeavor to unravel the dark doings of their assailants. Alone, or in parties with up to five additional players, heroes can choose from three different difficulty levels and may even discover rare dungeon dragons to capture and tame as the delve deeper.
