The Electronic Sports League (ESL) is preparing a hot summer for the fans of Brink , the innovative shooter developed by Splash Damage and published by Bethesda Softworks. Apart from the Brink Championship, which is entering now a decisive phase, and various cups, ladders and the new gaming system VERSUS, one of the largest eSports leagues will host another tournament for all the European Brink players - the European Challenge.
Open to every Brink player the competition will be played in 5on5 Stopwatch mode. It will also use the latest Championship settings of the game. The group stage of the tournament will consist of eight groups from which the best two teams will advance to the playoffs. The participants will compete for the non-cash prizes worth 1,500 Euro. The competition will start on July 11 and will be preceded by a sign-up period, which will end on July 10.
