Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 , the sequel to City Interactive’s 2010 bestseller Sniper: Ghost Warrior , launches Q1, 2012 in Europe. The anticipated sequel to be released for PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC is powered by the legendary CRYengine3, and delivers an uncanny level of detail & realism to the environments and mission locations of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 .

City Interactive’s development team is smartly utilizing the CRYengine3’s power as evidenced by this new pack of screens that beautifully illustrates the level of depth and detail of the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 mission that takes place deep in the jungles of Burma.

Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) are about to be purchased in a secret locale. A lone Sniper is dispatched with the primary objective of assisting in the interception of that sale at all costs.  Dropped into the mission zone via boat and under cover of darkness, the Sniper must move quickly through the night to reach a secure vantage point. Once there, he must provide cover to the commandos that are intercepting the purchase of the biological WMDs. Targets are eliminated and evaded but the mission goes FUBAR when the Sniper has to save his brother-in-arms from an airfield over run by enemy forces.
