Eurogamer selected to provide content for the MSN Coke Zero Gaming Zone

Brighton, England, 1st September 2011. Eurogamer.net, the world’s leading independent videogaming website, has partnered with MSN to provide games coverage for the Coke Zero Gaming Zone, localised for nine European territories.

“We're delighted to be working with MSN, bringing Eurogamer's award-winning games coverage to an even wider audience," said Content Editor, John Bedford. "By leveraging our pan-European editorial expertise, Eurogamer provides the highest-quality gaming news, reviews, previews and more to our partners.”

“Covering nine markets this is the largest single creative concept we have ever launched multinationally with Coke,” commented Laurent Delaporte, Vice President EMEA, Microsoft Advertising. “Developed by our dedicated global creative solutions team, the Coke Zero Gaming Zone is, to our knowledge, the first time any portal has created a channel on this scale across Europe. Our goal is for the Coke Zero Gaming Zone to be one of a handful of ‘go to’ sites for people to pick up their gaming news, in addition to extras such as exclusive competitions. It’s an ambitious and exciting project, and one that highlights just how mainstream gaming has become.”

The Coke Zero Gaming Zone has launched in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Finland, France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands. French and Flemish localisation has also been provided for the Belgian market.
