Hilversum, Netherlands– 8th October 2010 - Foreign Media Games™ (FMG) is pleased to announce its rebranding as Easy Interactive™ with immediate effect. The former division of the Dutch media empire, Foreign Media Group, was acquired this month by private equity investment firm, Triacta.

Since inception in 2001, Easy Interactive has built strong partnership relations with retailers and distributors around the world by delivering a profitable range of console game titles with broad market appeal. The firm’s philosophy since launch is the strong support of releases via consumer and trade marketing.

Easy Interactive was acquired by Foreign Media Group in June 2006 and, despite integration into the media firm’s wider portfolio, it remained an independently managed and profitable division. Following the appointment of administrators at the parent company last month, the management team was able to expedite an equity sale, and the transfer of the business as a going concern, to the new owners.

Easy Interactive’s Managing Director, Michel van Elmpt, said“After spending four years as part of a larger group it feels natural to return to our independent games publisher origins. Our team is exactly the same, other than one personnel addition, and we’re looking forward to delivering against our substantial Q4 2010 and 2011 line-ups.”

Easy Interactive has an extensive range of Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii games for release in the coming months, and is soon to announce a range of games under a recently announced agreement where it secured the rights to the Purple Hills range of casual game titles.
