Former Vice President of THQ Asia Pacific joins Turn Left Distribution

Thursday 23 August 2012, Melbourne –  Turn Left Distribution Pty. Ltd. today announced that Rodney Block has joined their team in the role of Managing Director. Formerly Vice President of Asia Pacific Publishing at THQ, Block will drive strategic growth at the premium games distributor.

Block commented: “I was the second employee through the door at THQ in Australia and after 12 years I left with a great sense of pride in what we had accomplished but looking for new challenges. Turn Left’s focus on quality and service was immediately attractive to me and It feels great to be back working with a small team and building something up again.”

Brian Quigley, General Manager at Turn Left Distribution, will continue to manage day to day operations and added: “As a premium games distributor, it’s a core principle that we offer the highest level of service. Rod’s appointment allows us to grow the business without taking any attention away from our current partners.”

With one top tier publisher already on their books, Turn Left has a stated goal of growing to work with a maximum of two more AAA partners and a highly selective list of companies they are targeting.
