Monday 18 th April 2011: iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are receiving some tuneful magic as Nordic Games brings We Sing Superstar Quiz to the App Store, based on the hit selling Wii game We Sing.
Available for free, musical superstars can put their knowledge to the test by answering as many music related questions as possible. The music policy remains‘something for everyone’ with genres spanning 70s/80s, 90s, 00s Pop, Dance, R&B/Urban, Rock, Albums, Pop Luck, and the special We Sing group. With over 2,000 questions it will test any musical genius.
“We Sing Superstar Quiz is a great way of extending the We Sing brand onto other platforms and keeping it entertaining for fans of the We Sing series,” said Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games.“It gives players a fun and interactive way to learn about their favourite artists, as well as challenging them.”
All questions are multiple choice and pose musical brain-teasers such as“Who did Cheryl Cole perform with in the hit single 'Heart Breaker'?” and“Boy George appeared in what TV series?”
Designed, developed and published by Wired Productions, the aim of the game is to answer as many questions correctly to earn Fans. The more Fans you have the quicker players reach Superstardom. Lifelines need to be used wisely as players only get three.
Players have three single-player modes to choose from, which include: We Sing Superstar Quiz, Classic Mode and Sudden Death, the further people get the harder the questions become. Musical arch enemies can be challenged in the Play and Pass multiplayer mode.
“The We Sing series of games achieved outstanding success which is why we wanted to develop a game within the music genre that is accessible in the palm of your hand,” said Leo Zullo, Managing Director of Wired Productions.
Superstardom can be publicised on Game Center by submitting top scores and challenging other We Sing superstars around the world.
