Bristol, UK (February 25, 2013) What started as a simple experiment for UK game developer The Motion Monkey, in an effort to do something genuinely new and unique with the tired old match 3 puzzle game, has turned into a viral internet phenomenon. The original web based version of Fyoozd has gone from strength to strength, getting over 30,000 plays per day, with around a 90% user return rate and so is not only retaining the existing user base but steadily climbing day by day.
“We certainly didn’t anticipate the success of Fyoozd. It was a quick, experimental project and we honestly weren’t expecting great things from it. 18 months on and the online gaming community seems to have really embraced it. After taking note of all the feedback we’ve had, we’re hungry for more, to make the sequel the best it can be and give the players what they want. We’re also hoping to bring the sequel to mobile platforms this time around, so we’ll be designing with that in mind from the off.”
