The next patch for Iron Grip: Marauders will include another new quest giver – but he’s not in the same vein as the Trader or the Mysterious Stranger. Marauders love to gamble, and Captain Kolo provides some extra special entertainment, pitting hapless Captains looking for some extra coin against all manner of weird and wonderful adversaries.
Mass cavalry charges despite this being the age of automatic weapons and armored vehicles? Battles where marauders have to clear out not one but several Mortt hives quickly, or risk being overrun by the beasts? Waves of Bomb Trucks? These sorts of exhibitions are as common in Kolo’s gambling events as mugs of ale in a tavern. When it comes to the details of Kolo’s next challenge mission, all bets are off!
His ship Skysaber is an impressive and intimidating sight when it passes overhead, but Captain Kolo is not really the fearsome swashbuckler that he would like to be. Despite this, he does well for himself and is renowned for his imagination and dedication in coming up with exciting new conflicts for marauders to wager their gold on.
If you think you can take very strange opponents and situations in your stride and come out victorious, Captain Kolo will be glad to know you. We’ve all heard not to bet against the house – this time, you will be working for the house, but in the world of Iron Grip: Marauders, that doesn’t mean any kind of safety and security! In fact, it’s quite the opposite – but where there are big risks, there are also big rewards.
