Karlsruhe, 18 th January – Today, Gameforge, Europe’s leading provider of online games, announces the appointment of Lothar Rentschler as new Vice President of Marketing of the Gameforge Group. Rentschler, a designated marketing expert with more than 18 years of professional experience, takes over all marketing divisions at Gameforge headquarters in Karlsruhe and at daughter company Frogster in Berlin, including online marketing, brand management, media design and public relations. In his new position, Rentschler reports directly to CEO Alexander Rösner.
Before working at Gameforge, Rentschler held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Full Tilt Poker in Dublin and was responsible for a three-digit million budget. Prior to that, , he led an international team at the media-agency Mediaedge:cia in Düsseldorf as Managing Director Global Solutions, and also held key positions with an international focus at Bacardi, Scholz and Friends, Springer & Jacoby and DMB&B.
Rentschler holds a degree in business administration, with a major in advertising economics.
