LONDON, 25/10/2012 – DesignerApps has announced that it’s going to debut the long-awaited PC (& Mac) version of GamePlan through Steam’s Greenlight service.
Gameplan is amongst the first wave of apps and concepts to be included in Valve’s new Software category for Greenlight – the service where the Steam community vote and choose what new games and software get released through Steam.
The PC/Mac version of GamePlan will have all of the same functionality as the mobile version, and will also be cross-compatible; allowing gamers to group together regardless of their platform.
“ Ever since GamePlan launched, one of the most asked for features was to bring GamePlan to the PC” said Mark Hockings, founder and CEO of DesignerApps.
“ Valve’s Greenlight platform makes the perfect forum for this – we get to address all of Steam’s built in community, and through the process of voting & discussion, we get instant feedback on what we can do to make GamePlan better.”
GamePlan PC, if successful, will retail for the same price as the mobile version ($4.99 / £2.99 / 3.49 euro), and there will be a free version as well (exactly like the mobile free version) for users to try.
