gamescom 2012 the world's biggest exhibition and highlight event in the interactive games and entertainment calendar continues to record mounting interest from both home and abroad. Exhibitors from more than 21 different countries have already confirmed their participation to use gamescom as a presentation, communication and business platform. Companies from Benelux, China, Germany, France and Great Britain will be exhibiting in Cologne alongside those from Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Canada, Korea and Latvia. Exhibitors from Poland, Switzerland, Singapore, Czechoslovakia and the USA are also on board. Among these are the regular early bookers, including, Electronic Arts, Deep Silver/ Koch Media, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive and Bethesda Softworks. Just as early, leading European and worldwide online and browser game companies are also confirming their presence. Among these are Gameforge, NCsoft, Trion Worlds' Nexon, wargaming.net, Red5 Studios, Riot Games. Hardware, accessory and merchandise vendors such as, Razer, Roccat , Bigben Interactive and Gaya Entertainment are also confirmed. Bigpoint is also back on board again this year.
Range of genres rounded off with Multi-platform gaming
Once again gamescom 2012 demonstrates itself to be the only event worldwide with a broad coverage of every facet of interactive entertainment. gamescom 2012 will showcase gaming's vast scope, from family entertainment and casual games right through to intense hard-core gaming, and will feature classic console games, PC online and browser games and the very latest trending topic - mobile gaming. All of this activity illustrating an ever strengthening trend towards multi-platform gaming. gamescom 2012 will be meeting and reflecting this trend like no other show. Gaming fans and experts from all over the world can already look forward to an explosive parade of gaming premiers lighting up the Cologne exhibition halls, whether on console, PC, handheld or on a mobile platform, exhibitors such as LG and Fishlabs Entertainment are just a further two companies confirmed in the exhibitor line-up.
Eleven National Community Stands
Already by 15th February the Koelnmesse organisers had received registrations and reservations for eleven national community stands. Five months before the event, this figure already matches the number of bookings for the previous year. Along with plenty of others, gamescom 2012 will see companies from China, France, Korea, Taiwan and the UK populating their national community stands from 15th - 18th August.
