Junior Brain Trainer Maths Edition is the latest addition to be announced from Avanquest’s popular series of Junior Brain Trainer DS games. Junior Brain Trainer Maths Edition presents maths lessons set in an adventure packed storyline, helping to make number crunching interesting. Aimed at 7-11 year olds, each game and puzzle featured has been designed to help support kids’ classroom studies and build confidence at school.

Junior Brain Trainer Maths Edition takes place aboard a mad scientist’s flying laboratory, where players must use their mathematical minds to unlock puzzles and complete a range of popular and exciting games in order to rescue their friends and escape the flying ship. The storyline is designed to make maths learning fun, yet challenging at the same time, featuring three difficulty levels to suit children with varying maths knowledge.

The game also features a unique point system, whereby players must achieve a certain amount of points in order to unlock more games and achieve a higher points level to win a reward. Adding to the challenge, the player can only complete the game and escape the ship once they have won a reward in each of the individual games.

Each game featured in Junior Brain Trainer Maths Edition requires mini mathematicians to use as much brain power as possible. Games that will get young minds ticking include Mystery Number, where players use numeracy skills to fill in missing figures to get the right answer; plus True or False , where the mad scientist tries to trick the players with false sums and players must then work out if the answer is correct in order to progress.

Other games such as Mirror, Mirror test gamers’ symmetrical skills where they must replicate various shapes displayed using the stylus . Junior Brain Trainer Maths Edition also includes popular favourites such as Domin oes, which requires players to connect the dominoes to corresponding numbers. Abacus and Lost Sign each use numeracy skills and common teaching tactics to help children learn both in and out of the classroom.

Junior Brain Trainer Maths Edition features:

15 mind-boggling games - complete the puzzles in order to escape from the mad scientist’s laboratory.

A captivating storyline - an animated and adventure packed setting to make learning maths more fun and exciting.

3 difficulty levels - difficulty levels include Easy, Medium and Hard, suitable for children with varying maths abilities. As the player progresses through the games, the games will become progressively harder challenging the player’s maths knowledge.
