GodZ, the latest Facebook game is now available.

GodZ is the first strategy social game produced by Yucca Studios. Creating this game came as an idea, 2 years ago and since then its developers have been working very hard. They searched and found some investment to conceive the game, but not 100% what they needed. Never the less, in June 2012 they started working fully on developing the game because they believe that GodZ will be the first of a new generation of social games. “Through GodZ we aim to prove that high quality social games are possible and not merely work on clicking and long loading times. On GodZ everything has a meaning and a purpose, a story. Its strategy will lead the thinking of the gamer and develop his mind in terms of strategic thinking. More than half of Facebook gamers play games. And yet, there only a few social games conceived having hard core gamers in mind. GodZ is their game. We want to allow this community to play a game that brings them into Facebook games”.

“Unleash Your Power” is the slogan that defines the game’s concept. GodZ gamer will have the power of one of the 3 gods that are determined to defeat Afexha, the Death goddess, and its great villain on GodZ’s world. GodZ story begins on ancient times, prior to the moment the player will find, with the creation of a universe with two powerful creatures. The initial GodZ: Kesha, goddess of Life and Afexha the terrible Death goddess. Two new gods were created from the conflict raised between these two gods, Sasha, Love goddess - malicious and beautiful – and Thon, Fire god, magic and fearless; and Sanon, god of War, fair and implacable. That’s when the player starts and chooses which powers we prefers to start its quest of fight and conquer in the game, determined to defeat Afexha. The player will have to start a religion, or choose to join one that already exists. The goal is to get together the largest number of believers to make its power stronger.

GodZ is much more than just a social game. It’s a game with a great part of strategy and  RPG. Unlike the majority of all other social games, this game will have an end. No matter of how the player runs the game, there is a parallel story with chapters. Each chapter tells part of GodZ story. Every time a chapter is finished, the players gets into a new phase of the game.

All of GodZ concept art is inspired on Maya, Astec and Inca civilizations, mixed with a great tone of technology, leading to a new style: Mayatech.

GodZ promises to make social gamers brains moving. So here’s what the beta testers have to say about it:

“Are you ready to begin your journey on becoming the strongest God?”

Flavio Sirasa (Portugal)

“In many games you were able to prove yourself by fighting like a warrior. But here you will need more! Here you must wage war! LIKE A GOD!”

Anthony F. Mancha Sr. (EUA)

“It’s through simplicity that you’ll find Godz is a very pleasant game to someone that seeks to have good fun for a while”
