GREE’s Kyoko Matsushita is the latest speaker to be confirmed for this month’s F2P Summit, which takes place on 28 March at Rich Mix in London.

Matsushita leads the EU Business Development and Developer Relations teams from the UK for GREE – a leading mobile social gaming company that reaches over 190 million players worldwide and offers over 7,500 games. “GREE is relatively new to the UK so we’re thrilled to be participating at the F2P Summit," she commented. "I’m especially looking forward to speaking with and meeting developers who are interested in the free-to-play space."

In her F2P Summit session she will discuss why mobile social games need a platform now more than ever: “Many mobile social games are freemium but lack strong social effects. Only with the help of social platforms do mobile social games truly become social and achieve cost-effective acquisition, retention, and monetisation rates.”

“During my session, developers will learn about the current state of the platform market, including how platforms interact with social games, why social games greatly benefit from platforms and how game developers can leverage platforms today. They will also learn how this plays out in different markets.”

Taking place on 28 March 2012 at Rich Mix in London, the F2P Summit is the UK’s first free to play conference. Registration is open now and early bird passes (with a saving of £100) can be purchased until 14 March from
