Brooklyn, NY -- July 17, 2009 -- Freeverse Inc, a leading publisher of Apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch, has announced an update to the popular game, Grunts.
The newest update provides players with menu, control and gameplay changes to polish the successful top-down squad-based shooter. The many changes in this update include:
Campaign Mode progress is automatically saved at strategic points in the Easy and Normal modes. The Tutorial level now includes a shortcut to skip right to the action without losing points.
The Control methods have been improved and now include Tap&Release squad control. Smart Weapon action will fire the bazooka or grenades at appropriate targets without having to re-select.
In addition, the menus have been tweaked to add a new Mission Select mode screen. A lockable screen rotation option to select Portrait or Landscape and Right or Left handed play control has been implemented and online functionality can now be disabled.
As a special thank you to early buyers, the new IN A TANK! mode allows players to bulldoze their way through their favorite levels. That mode will be enabled for all players in the the next update.
Freeverse and Strange Flavour are committed to the continued support of their titles and this free update is just the beginning for Grunts!
