Immanitas Entertainment secures exclusive worldwide publishing rights for Uprising44: The Silent Shadows

The Polish development studio DMD Enterprise has partnered with Immanitas Entertainment GmbH to bring its action-packed PC game, Uprising 44: The Silent Shadows in a special extended edition to the markets this winter.

Berlin (8 th October 2012) – Uprising44: The Silent Shadows, developed by the indie studio DMD Enterprise, combines all the strengths of a third-person shooter and real-time strategy. This unique mix of gameplay elements is not the only thing that sets it apart from other games either: its immersive story set during the Warsaw Uprising during WWII follows the “Silent Shadows” the forerunners of today’s Special Forces and tells a tale never seen before in a video game.

In action mode players can utilize up to 16 different weapons to fight the soldiers of the Third Reich in close quarters fire fights in the streets of Warsaw. The protagonists can make us of cover, give their comrades orders as well as finding a vantage point to stand a chance against overwhelming odds. In RTS mode players will be presented with a strategic overview of the action so as to make the right decisions when directing groups of fighters, even when the dynamics of battle require constant adjustments of tactics.

“We are very happy to be working with such a great product and talented team”, states Christian Sauerteig, CEO of Immanitas Entertainment GmbH. “We believe that the exciting mix of strategy and third-person action in Uprising44 will go down really well with players”, he continues. Michal Dzwiniel from DMD Enterprise is also very enthusiastic about the partnership: “In Immanitas Entertainment we have found the right partner to further develop the success of Uprising44 in the international markets and we are looking forward to working together.”

Uprising 44: The Silent Shadows will be available in stores and digital distribution platforms this winter worldwide published and distributed exclusively by Immanitas Entertainment.
