12 th SEPTEMBER 2013, BIRMINGHAM, UK: Incus Games has announced its debut title, Three Monkeys; an audio adventure set in the fictional, Romani-inspired world of Byzantia. Using advanced audio techniques and consulting with members of the Royal London Society for Blind People (RLSB), Three Monkeys brings to life a vivid world without the need for visuals.

Three Monkeys is an ambitious role-playing adventure putting the player in the shoes of a blind hero by the name of Tobar. To learn more about the story at the heart of the experience, have a listen to a monologue from one of the main characters, Yoska – setting the scene for the game. Make sure to use headphones; Three Monkeys uses binaural audio techniques to define its gameplay and create a convincing world.

In lieu of a traditional launch trailer (which generally require visuals) Incus Games has prepared a development feature explaining the thinking behind the game and introducing the world of Byzantia.

Three Monkeys will be playable for the first time at Eurogamer Expo, held at Earls Court 26-29th September, and can be found at the Indie Arcade area of the show.
