El Segundo, Calif. - Feb 9, 2009 - There is plenty of love to go around in OGPlanet's massively multiplayer online games this month, as side-scroller La Tale and role-playing game CABAL Online are both hosting special events.
Players can show their love of the ever-popular panda pet, the Charisma Pan, in CABAL Online during the Pandamonium Event. From Feb. 12 until Feb. 26, players can purchase not only the cuddly companion, but a Charisma Pan costume for their character as well. Players who buy the discounted Charisma Pan bundle, including the pet and costume, will also be entered for a chance to win 1,000 Astros, redeemable for in-game items in the OGPlanet item shop.
Meanwhile, in La Tale, aspiring moviemakers can display their work in the La Tale "Tell the Greatest Story of All ... Yours" contest. Players who create short movies, either stories about their characters or music videos, and post them to the OGPlanet forums can compete for bragging rights and prizes. Each player whoparticipates will receive 10 Golden Darts of Luck, and the creator of the winning video will receive a Kanzo Stone, which increases experience, rare drop and item drop rates.
A La Tale Valentine Fashion Contest is also kicking off on Feb. 12. Players can post screenshots of their characters decked out in their favorite Valentine items on the OGPlanet forums for a chance at prizes. Each player who enters the Valentine Fashion Contest will receive an XP Reassign Puzzle, and other prizes include Warp Crystals and the exclusive Iris Ring.
