Larian Sets Release Date For RPG Divinity: Original Sin

Larian’s Divinity RPG series has proven to be a hit with many thousands of fans around the world. Both Divine Divinity and Divinity II were cult hits in many quarters, with their captivating world design and original look at many fantasy archetypes – you could be a dragon, for one thing.

The next game in the now classic series will arrive in February 2014. Divinity: Original Sin will tell new stories in the game’s universe and bring all kinds of new gameplay styles to a series that has never stuck to the same formula. Because that’s how Larian rolls; they don’t like doing the same stuff over and over any more than you do.

You can read the full story of the upcoming launch on the game’s Kickstarter page

And on Friday, September 27 at 10:00 PST/13:00 EST/17:00 CET, fans and followers will get a chance to participate in a Question and Answer session at the studio’s Twitch channel. http://twitch.tv/larianstudios

Oh, and of course there will be another of the regular and popular developer blogs over on http://www.lar.net , but if you’re a fan of what Larian has been doing over the years, I probably don’t have to tell you that.

Divinity: Original Sin’s features will include:

- classic isometric appearance

- both single-player and co-op multiplayer

- rewards for exploration and not just powering through everything

- deep character and talent development

- a powerful editor to help you design your own stories

And much, much more.

February 2014! Divinity: Original Sin! Five months is almost too long to wait.
