FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BRAINTREE, UK – 1 st September 2011
Following on from the success of Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death Laughing Jackal are delighted to announce their next Fighting Fantasy conversion for PlayStation Minis will be Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain.
First published in 1982 Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain was the first book in the Fighting Fantasy series, and introduced millions of readers to the world of Titan, which would be the setting for many of the Fighting Fantasy books to come.
Due to the feedback they’ve been receiving from fans of the series, Laughing Jackal have made several changes to the game since Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death including:
The Log Book now remembers which book you were in (Character, Item or Page)
The user can now return to the top of the page by pressing the up button when the first option is highlighted
A ‘Good’ generic alignment portrait has been added to Character Bios
A new mini game has been added to the end of the quest
.
But Laughing Jackal can’t reveal any more on that last point for fear of spoilers.
Laughing Jackal will also announce the winners of their amazing Fighting Fantasy competition on their blog today.
Established in 2005, Laughing Jackal are the developer of PlayStation minis such as Du æl Invaders, Vibes, Ace Armstrong vs. the Alien Scumbags, Stellar Attack and Cubixx. We have just released a PlayStation minis version of the Fighting Fantasy series of Choose Your Own Adventure gamebooks, as well as zombie chain reaction puzzler OMG-Z.
