The Indie Game Challenge award-winning game’s soundtrack is a collaboration between Empty Clip and a collection of the indie-music scene’s top up-and-coming artists incorporating a diverse of genres ranging from classical to electronic to folk.

In this vertical-shooter, players can select music from the game’s soundtrack or from their own collections, with each song creating a unique battlefield. Making their way through custom-created playlists, players customize their ship, discover and upgrade items to defeat bosses and ultimately, liberate the “Symphony of Souls” from a mysterious entity to reclaim their music.


SYMPHONY’S music-based gameplay is complemented by a soundtrack comprised of top rising indie music artists encompassing a range of genres including classical, electronic, folk and rock. SYMPHONY will launch with music by: Dynasty Electric, Evan Gamble, James Young, John Belkot, Joshua Bornfield, Marc de Clive-Lowe, Mercer Friendly, Prettydead Ferrari, Seasick Mama and Soliton.

Liberate Your Music! – The “Symphony of Souls” has been trapped by an unknown entity that is corrupting and absorbing your songs and you must defeat five sets of enemy bosses to reach it and reclaim your music.

Replayability – The music-driven battlefield offers a long-lasting, gameplay experience, including six difficulty levels, earning “Kudos” and “Inspiration” points unlock upgradable items.

Per-Song Leaderboard System – Showcase your skills with SYMPHONY’s per-song leaderboard system with 30 achievements/medals to unlock.

Soundtrack – In addition to importing personal music, SYMPHONY’s soundtrack provides players a plethora of songs to play to ranging from classical to rock, comprised of today’s top indie talent.
