‘Button Brigade’ Takes Button Mashing to a New Level

Cambridge, MA, June 27 - A new iOS adventure is coming to the Apple App Store. "Button Brigade" plucks its buttons off the screen and brings them to life. Instead of just controlling the game, these buttons are a part of the game, and may be used by friend and foe alike. Button Brigade will launch this July for $0.99 as a Universal App.

Delivered through a top-down world with touch controls, players will help an audacious robotic worm escape from the very factory that created it. The factory is home to hundreds of buttons that can be used to solve the puzzles created by the scheming factory foremen, as well as defeat hostile worms.

Each unique button allows for inventive strategies, but also potential pitfalls. A 'Restart' button can help if you mess up a puzzle, so you might want to take it with you. But don't let an enemy worm use it to yank you back in time!

Button Brigade's old-school action/adventure experience breathes classic gaming life into a modern touch-based platform. Players can solve the 40+ levels with a variety of buttons and strategies. The Time Trial mode will challenge them further to find the fastest solutions. And an extra hard mode awaits the most skilled button tappers!

Axis Sivitz is the Boston-based independent game developer who has been working on Button Brigade for nearly two years. His first release, the acclaimed “Championship Ultimate”, was the first fully-featured video game based on the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. It is also available at the Apple App Store.
