‘ICON 2011,’ a Place for Newest Trend in the World, to Kick Off in Busan on Nov 8!

A core of future growth engine is contents. No matter how great technological skills in all areas like IT, game, and videos, poor contents cannot survive for long. It’s the power of contents that global major companies are focusing on developing ‘Killer Contents’ and a venture businessman can captivate the world with just one creative content.

‘ICON2011 (International Content Creator's Conference 2011),’ a place to have a grasp of global trend and future of contents industry, is held in Busan, in November. ICON2011, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, is held at BEXCO in Busan, Korea, for two days from Nov 8, two days before ‘G-Star2011,’ the Korea’s biggest game show.

This event, held in the theme of ‘Open Knowledge Share Information,’ is a place for discovering new contents business and for revitalizing the industry and will be a networking venue for exchanging technologies and establishing networks by sharing knowhow in production and planning of promising contents and successful cases home and abroad.

ICON2011 will be held with about 40 lectures divided in 4 tracks - game, next generation, 3D stereo-scopic image, and academy – starting from keynote speech of first-class speakers representing each industry.

In ‘game,’ examples of successes and failures and knowhow in each field like planning, programming, art, and business will be shared, and ‘NDC2011 Review for Great Session’ will be also held, which’s already dragging related industries.

For ‘next generation,’ diverse lectures about newest trend like smartphone, SNS, and SNG, and future strategies will be presented.

In a track named ‘3D stereo-scopic image,’ a session on 3D stereo-scopic industry, which’s already rocketed as gold chip in 21 st century, is held. Lectures on 3D contents and videos, and new media technology and development from famous studios from Korea and abroad are also available.

Meanwhile, ICON2010 closed in success with the highest record of visitors – average daily number of more than 2,000 visitors from Korea with 180 professionals from 16 countries.

ICON2011, which’s expected to be a record-breaking event again with more sufficient compositions, seems to be a networking place for interchanging diverse information and for business.
