EDISON, N.J., August 15th, 2007– Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games and digital entertainment products for the mass market, today announced that its award-winning Nintendo DS™ video game, Cooking Mama, has shipped more than 500,000 units to retail since its launch 11 months ago.

“We are excited by the sales performance of Cooking Mama as it reinforces Majesco’s content and platform strategy,” said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing.“We look forward to further building the franchise while introducing new players to the fun and unique gameplay within Mama’s kitchen.”

Developed by Office Create and licensed from Taito, Cooking Mama has received several industry honors including:“Most Innovative DS Design of E3 2006” from leading video game website IGN; and GameDaily’s“Nod Award,” which called Cooking Mama“a fun DS game that uses the stylus to near perfection.”

Cooking Mama challenges players to use the stylus as a master kitchen tool to cook 76 real world dishes ranging from pepperoni pizza to cabbage meat rolls.
