MapleStory takes part at GC Developer's Conference 2008

Leipzig, Germany - August 18, 2008: Nexon reveals the key factors behind the global success story of its worldwide popular MMORPG MapleStory at the Games Developers Conference in Leipzig, Germany. In a special speaker's session on August 20, Spike Ryu, Director of Wizet Studio Game Development Department, gives a presentation on the history and future development plans of the game.

"The success of MapleStory has been featured in many internationally renowned industry sessions and conferences, but this is the first time for Nexon to address this subject directly to the audience in Europe." says Spike Ryu, who heads the international operations of MapleStory. "We are very happy to be part of and to present MapleStory at a highly reputed event such as the GCDC."

MapleStory was first launched in April 2003 in Korea, and is now present in 60 countries with more than 87 million registered users. The European version was released in May 2007, published by Nexon Europe.
