Press Release

- for immediate publication –

Hamburg, Germany - January 3rd, 2012 – Fishlabs Entertainment starts into the new year with the addition of two new members to their team, namely producer Maren Nötzelmann and web developer Jannes Gneist, who have both joined the ranks of the renowned Hamburg-based smartphone and tablet game developer and publisher on January 1st, 2012.

Since the successful ad games, which Fishlabs develops for blue chip clients such as Volkswagen or Barcleycard, have become more and more complex and ambitious over the years, the company hired Maren Nötzelmann as their new ad game producer. Before her engagement with Fishlabs, Nötzelmann (28) had been working as a localization manager at dtp entertainment for four years. In that position, the graduate media technologist supervised more than 50 titles from the early stages of development to the final release in various languages. For several of these games, she also took over the project management.

The qualified IT specialist Jannes Gneist will from now on be in charge of Fishlabs’ web presence and prepare the Hamburg-based company for the upcoming online rush, which is to be expected due to the implementation of multiplayer gameplay and social features in future Fishlabs releases. Before he joined Fishlabs, Gneist (23) had been working for a number of different companies as a web developer and administrator.

‘With more than 50 million downloads, Fishlabs is the world’s leading developer of ad games,’ says the company’s CEO Michael Schade. ‘Sports Car Challenge, our current ad game for Volkswagen (China), has shown once again that the quality of ad games is constantly increasing these days. Consequently, the development of such titles, as well as the communication with the clients, becomes more and more challenging and demanding as well. Hence we are glad to have found an experienced project manager with Maren, whom we believe to be the perfect choice for this position. Jannes, on the other hand, will be indispensable for us when it comes to the extension of our online presence, which will serve as the hub for our online gaming community in the not-too-distant future.’
