Namco Bandai and Paramount beam down to ExCeL’s ‘Destination Star Trek London’ to show fans next year’s blockbuster game STAR TREK

With a storyline occurring after the events of J.J. Abram’s 2009 Star Trek reboot, the Star Trek video game puts players in the shoes of seminal heroes Captain James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock.  Players are set on a journey of immense proportions across unexplored planets and enemy battleships with the latest 23 rd century weapons and gear.

At this weekend’s London event Destination Star Trek London, in a specially build screening room (using Nvidia technology), fans will experience in full 3D, a gameplay presentation demonstrating the most varied co-op experience for this console generation from both Spock and Kirk’s unique in game perspective’s. All visitors will be given a free poster on exit.

The game is being developed by Digital Extremes ( Bioshock 2, Unreal Tournament, The Darkness II) with production being overseen by Paramount Pictures and a scheduled release in early 2013 for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
