Future Publishing’s Official Nintendo Magazine has finalised its new-look editorial team which will commence development of the ONM brand on existing and new platforms as excitement builds ahead of Nintendo's highly anticipated Wii U launch
Former Official Nintendo Magazine Editor, Chandra Nair has returned to Future Publishing as Editor-In-Chief of Nintendo Projects. Nintendo Gamer's Associate Editor, Matthew Castle will assume the role of Associate Editor and Nintendo nut Joe Skrebels has been appointed as Staff Writer.
This new team will now begin work on the magazine and website redesign to incorporate design elements and mechanisms that will feature on the Wii U when it launches later this year.
Chandra Nair says: “I am thrilled to have been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Nintendo Projects and am excited to lead the team in taking the brand forward, in particular introducing the Wii U elements to the magazine itself. It is a really exciting time for Nintendo and I am proud we will be right in the midst of it all.”
Lee Nutter, Publisher of Official Nintendo Magazine, says: “I am delighted the new editorial team has been finalised and am excited to see the brand evolve and develop in the run-up to Wii U launch. There’s a lot more to come from the ONM brand over the next 12 months and we have a great team in place to deliver it.”
The brand new issue of the magazine features a gold foil wallet, a wrap-around cover and 3DS decals – in celebration of the launch of New Super Mario Bros. 2 – and a world exclusive first look at FIFA 13 on the Wii U. Official Nintendo Magazine issue 85 is on sale now, priced £4.50.
