PETROGLYPH® ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH OMAKE INTERACTIVE SERVICES

NOVEMBER 23, 2011 – LAS VEGAS , NV – Petroglyph®, developer and publisher of Rise of Immortals, a free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game, today announced a new partnership with Omake Interactive Services to expand the game's reach in Asian markets. With more than 15 years of gaming industry experience, Omake is able to leverage their deep knowledge of both Eastern and Western cultural gaming conventions, business styles and market traits to offer Petroglyph and Rise of Immortals a proven path to success in Asia.

"We’ve had a lot of interest in Rise of Immortals from Asian publishers and are excited to finally bring our innovative MOBA game to this market," said Chuck Kroegel, CEO of Petroglyph Games. Adding, "Omake Interactive Services has a great reputation and unmatched experience in facilitating the formation of partnerships between Western developers and Asian publishers, and we look forward to working with them."

With years of experience doing business in Asia, Omake has employees on the ground in all of the major Asian territories, offering Petroglyph and Rise of Immortals seasoned representation in Asia.

"Rise of Immortals has every success element we seek: an experienced team, extraordinary design and technology that clearly differentiates the game in the market. Petroglyph’s desire to create powerful Asian partnerships combined with a cutting edge MOBA gameplay will see Rise of Immortals make a significant impact across Asia," said Tim Allison, CEO of Omake Interactive Services.

Rise of Immortals features the popular action-strategy gameplay of traditional MOBA games, but adds enhanced socialization features, along with persistent character progression – a first for the MOBA genre. In addition, Rise of Immortals features a social hub where players can show off their enhanced Immortals, chat, emote, browse leaderboards, shop, update friend lists and more. Players also have the option of taking their Immortals through cooperative Player versus Environment (PvE) scenarios to learn the game, try out new abilities, and earn persistent experience before jumping into Player versus Player (PvP) matches.

Interested players can go to http://www.riseofimmortals.com/ to learn more about Rise of Immortals and select their characters to battle in one of the unique maps. If players are unique to the genre, Rise of Immortals allows them to warm up to the intense 5v5 player vs player gameplay mode with a tutorial and 1vE mode against the computer.
