Avallon Alliance in collaboration with White Zebra has released the Mac version of The Mysterious Past of Gregory Phoenix which is available on the Mac App Store. The new version for Mac users provides an enhanced adventure experience with a range of original mini-games enjoyed by the users of the iPad and PC versions.
Adventure games with dramatic story lines are getting increasingly popular and The Mysterious Past of Gregory Phoenix joins this trend with the main character searching for his legacy and treasury by solving puzzles along the way.
The main riddle of the game is through the story-telling of the book which recounts the history of an ancient kingdom. Gregory must collect the various pieces of an ancient suit of armor which has been destroyed and dispersed throughout the kingdom by an evil wizard. Gregory uses the ability to move through time and space using a variety of inventions of his ancestor to find and recover the pieces. Only after successfully recovering each missing piece from the suit of armor is the key to the next secret location unlocked. As the game unfolds itself, the gamer is presented with picturesque mini-games that take more and more skill to solve.
The gamer enjoys 27 hidden object scenes, captivating puzzles in each location, and the great look and feel of 3D graphics and design. The large variety of symbols makes the game interesting for those who like artifact arcades.
