The glitzy awards ceremony was held to celebrate excellence and achievement within the apps industry and featured a strong performance from British developers, including the BBC, Mubaloo, mxData and PlayJam, each sweeping the top award in their category.
A panel of expert industry judges worked from a short-list of 70 out of 250 entries using a set of 6 criteria including, overall strategy, innovation and execution to pick the winners in each group.
