New York, NY -- October 11, 2010 -- Eyedip, LLC today announced that both Pocket Devil: Hell Yeah! and Flight Doodle will be included in the first wave of games coming to Windows Phone 7 this fall. The new platform will ship in 2010 with additional new phone models arriving in early 2011. Eyedip has been working behind the scenes with Microsoft to port their popular iPhone games to the new platform and they will be available for users to grab from the Windows Phone Marketplace on launch day.
"Microsoft has created some of the most exemplary gaming platforms ever known, and we're excited about the myriad opportunities that this mobile initiative will bring to the market,” says Jeremy Adelman, Co-Founder of Eyedip.“The technology they’ve implemented is fantastic and the Microsoft team has provided us with great hands-on support throughout the Flight Doodle and Pocket Devil development effort."
“We’ve been working on an Android version of Pocket Devil, but when Microsoft gave us the opportunity to launch with them, we were thrilled by the possibilities," says Steven Fleisher, Co-Founder of Eyedip. "We took a step back to consider our options and it didn't take long to decide to put forth a slew of resources into having both our flagship titles ready to go live at launch.”
“Pocket Devil: Hell Yeah!” - Upon entering the richly rendered underworld of Pocket Devil: Hell Yeah!, players summon hordes of adorable, demonic underlings called The Mugat2. As their malevolent overseer, players can then toy with their tiny minions’ eternal souls. With a tap, pinch, drag, or swipe, the little devils are brought to their end in all kinds of hilarious, clever and cartoonishly gory ways. With mini-games galore and fun new features added in frequent updates, it’s a devilishly fun thrill ride that is constantly evolving.
“Flight Doodle” - This tilt-controlled, hot-air balloon game combines customizable aircraft, lush, colorful environments and brilliant graphics that take players on the ultimate high-flying adventure. Attempting to reach extreme heights, players collect tools and power-ups, and exercise agility to avoid varied enemies and obstacles. These forces combine to create a delightfully light-hearted experience that playfully appeals to players of all ages.
