London: Thursday, February 14th, 2013. PlayJam, the company behind GameStick, today announced that it had partnered with Korean and Japanese hardware manufacturer Avantis to license it’s TV games platform technology to power a new games console destined for the Korean and Japanese markets. The partnership signals PlayJam’s first licensing deal as part of its wider strategy to powermultiple devices following the highly successful launch of it’s own product - GameStick - on Kickstarter in January.

PlayJam Games Platform is an open architecture environment providing game developers with an advanced tool-set to enhance, promote, monetize and distribute content via connected TV devices. Features such as worldwidebilling, leader-boards, tournaments, ad serving and analytics can be quickly integrated via PlayJam’s SDK prior to distribution across its network of supported devices.
