PRESS RELEASE: Pop-Up Family Gamer Surgery in Exeter Tomorrow

Family Gamer TV and askaboutgames.com are running the first of their pop-up family gaming surgeries in Exeter tomorrow (17th August) in Gamestation. Parents will be invited to describe how their family like to play games together before getting advice on which games may suit them best.

The aim, as well as recommending some great games, is to encourage families to talk more about the games they play. There will also be some advice on how to use PEGI ratings to help with these choices. Rather than sticking to the classic family mini-games a broad range will be suggested from Wipeout HD to Go Vacation, from Uncharted to Flower, from Tumble to Boom Blox.

The conversations will be recorded for broadcast on Family Gamer TV’s YouTube channel ( http://www.youtube.com/familygamertv) in the coming weeks. If you are in the Exeter area why not pop into Gamestation in the Guildhall between 12 and 2pm, prizes will be given to those who take part.
