WARWICKSHIRE Oct 18 th 2012 - independent games developer ProjectorGames is proud to announce a new collaboration with talented producer & composer 'Halc', to provide an original soundtrack for the iPhone and iPad racing game 'Bitstream'.
Released as a completely free update, the new soundtrack comprises of four brand new tracks that make full use of Bitstream's unique interactive music system, which dynamically responds to the player's actions and race performance.
Halc (aka Drew Wheeler) is perhaps best known for his work with respected gaming music website OCRemix, having been a prolific contributor since 2008. "Working with Drew has been a real pleasure", said misterSquare, lead developer on the project. "Bitstream was one of the first games that ProjectorGames released commercially, and one that we have always been particularly proud of. It has been a long term goal to revisit it and make full use of the excellent music tech by expanding it with more tracks and genres. Thanks to Drew we've finally been able to do that, making the iOS version the definitive Bitstream experience".
In addition to the new soundtrack, the update offers greatly improved graphics plus full iPad and iPhone 5 support. Bitstream is currently available on the App Store for free, with a one off $1 in-app-purchase unlocking additional levels and content.
