Kunst-stoff, a Berlin indie game developer, received three nominations for the German Game Developer Award 2011. The casual game “Pudding Panic” was nominated in the categories “Best Game Design”, “Best Mobile Game” and “Best Handheld Game”. Also the game is nominated for the Dutch Games Award as “Best Euro Indie Game”. Kunst-stoff takes this as an occasion to celebrate by offering the game for free from the 26 th November for a couple of days.
“The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic” is an action-puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Users can test their courage in 48 suspenseful levels and try to rescue the anxious pudding named “Jitters” out of the haunted house.
The player’s task is it to unravel tricky labyrinths and guide the pudding to the exit. But scary monsters are waiting in the dark! The only chance of survival is to scare the monsters back before the pudding quivers, shivers and faints from fear. Users have to fight evil witches, rattling skeletons and rusty knights with an arsenal of crazy weapons. Variations in game play -- including puzzle-solving, playing against the clock, unraveling labyrinths and winning treacherous races -- promise to keep the game fresh and inspiring throughout the whole ride and for players of any level.
„The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic“ is a madcap casual game that lets the pulse rise and the adrenalin flow. If it succeeds in one of the categories from the German Games Developer Award 2011 will be decided on the 7 th December in Duesseldorf.
