Radiangames’ Fireball Special Edition Now Available for iPad and iPhone

URBANA, IL – March 15, 2012 – Radiangames, creator of the award-winning Super Crossfire, announced today that Fireball Special Edition, an explosive arcade survival game for iPad and iPhone, is now available on the App Store.

Fireball SE is a Universal app with support for iPad and iPhone 3GS or later (and 3 rd-gen iPod Touch or later).  The game will normally sell for $1.99/£1.49, but is available at the introductory price of $0.99/£0.69 until March 22nd.

Fireball Special Edition (or Fireball SE) focuses on smooth controls, explosive action, and thrilling escapes.  Players dodge huge swarms of enemies across 3 modes and 18 unique stages, along with 19 achievements and Game Center-enabled leaderboards.

“For players who enjoyed Tilt-to-Live and Geometry Wars’ Pacifism mode, or Radiangames Fireball on XBLIG, they know the best moments in object-avoidance games are the times they almost died and kept going”, said Luke Schneider, the one-man developer behind Radiangames. “ Fireball Special Edition thrives on those moments thanks to Meltdown mode.  You slow down the action and can thread your fireball through gaps in the swarms that would seem impossible at full speed.  Adding to those thrills are the mobile-friendly short-play structure and great touch screen controls.”
